 PRINCE ABIODUN LOGISTICS NIGERIA LIMITED is a limited liability company registered under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) with RC Number [insert RC number]. The Company imports, distributes, and sells wheat, rice, and ICUMSA 45 sugar, and provides logistics services including haulage, warehousing, customs clearance, and supply-chain management across Nigeria and West Africa.  

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, storage, sharing, and protection of personal data when you interact with us via our website (www.princeabiodunlogistics.com), place orders, register as a customer or partner, use logistics services, or communicate through phone, email, WhatsApp, or in person. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019 (NDPR), and all applicable laws.  

2. DEFINITIONS  
- Personal Data: Any information that identifies or can identify an individual (name, phone number, BVN, NIN, address, IP address, etc.).  
- Data Subject: You, the individual whose data we process.  
- Processing: Collecting, recording, storing, using, disclosing, or deleting personal data.  

3. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT  
We collect the following categories of data:  

Identity Data: Full name, company name, CAC registration number, NIN, BVN, passport photograph, driver’s license (for haulage partners). Collected via registration forms, contracts, and KYC documents.  

Contact Data: Phone number, email address, delivery address, WhatsApp ID, office address. Collected from order forms, emails, phone calls, and delivery instructions.  

Financial Data: Bank account details, payment card numbers (masked), transaction references, invoice numbers. Collected via bank transfers, payment gateways (Flutterwave, Paystack), and invoices.  

Logistics Data: Vehicle registration plate, waybill numbers, GPS tracking data, warehouse receipt numbers, delivery timestamps. Collected from haulage contracts, warehouse management systems, and GPS devices.  

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device ID, operating system, cookies, page visit duration. Collected automatically via website, Google Analytics, and server logs.  

Commercial Data: Order history, preferred product grades (e.g., parboiled rice, ICUMSA 45 specifications), delivery SLAs, quotation requests. Collected from CRM (Odoo or SAP) and ERP systems.  

We do NOT collect sensitive personal data such as religious beliefs, health records, or political opinions unless required by law (e.g., customs declaration forms).  

4. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING  
We process your data only for the following purposes and under valid NDPR legal bases:  

- To process purchase orders, issue invoices, and arrange deliveries – Performance of Contract.  
- To receive payments and issue receipts – Performance of Contract / Legal Obligation (FIRS).  
- To obtain customs clearance, NAFDAC permits, and SON conformity certificates for food imports – Legal Obligation.  
- To send price updates, stock alerts, and promotional offers via SMS/WhatsApp – Consent (opt-in required).  
- To analyze website traffic and improve user experience – Legitimate Interest.  
- To verify supplier identity and prevent fraud – Legitimate Interest / Legal Obligation.  
- To respond to complaints, disputes, or regulatory audits – Legal Obligation.  

5. DATA SHARING  
We share your data only with:  

- Banks and licensed payment gateways (Flutterwave, Paystack) – for payment processing (Nigeria).  
- Logistics partners (truck owners, 3PL providers) – for haulage and delivery scheduling (Nigeria).  
- Government agencies (Nigeria Customs Service, NAFDAC, Standards Organisation of Nigeria) – for import clearance and compliance (Nigeria).  
- Cloud service providers (Microsoft Azure, AWS Frankfurt region) – for secure data storage under EU Standard Contractual Clauses (EU – adequacy decision).  
- Legal counsel, external auditors, and insurance providers – for compliance, disputes, and risk management (Nigeria).  

We NEVER sell, rent, or trade your personal data.  

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS  
Data transferred outside Nigeria (e.g., to EU cloud servers) is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. A Data Processing Agreement is executed with every processor.  

7. DATA RETENTION PERIODS  
- Customer contracts, invoices, and payment records: 7 years (CAMA & FIRS requirements).  
- KYC documents (BVN, NIN, CAC certificates): 5 years after the business relationship ends.  
- Website and server logs: 90 days.  
- Marketing consent records: Retained until consent is withdrawn, plus 2 years for proof of compliance.  

After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized using industry-standard methods.  

8. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER NDPA  
You have the right to:  
1. Request access to your personal data (free copy within 30 days).  
2. Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.  
3. Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”) where no legal obligation exists.
